Georgia Waters is an actor and writer with a degree from The University of Oxford. Best known for her roles in Reginald the Vampire and Siren, Georgia was itching to tell stories herself, so she returned to her literary roots and transitioned to screenwriting.
Her pilot The Forgotten Queen has earned critical attention, making Coverfly's RED List, advancing to the second round at the Austin Film Festival, and becoming a Semi-Finalist in the Outstanding Screenplay Drama competition.
Georgia’s writing spotlights historical women, bringing their stories out of the shadows and giving them the recognition they deserve.
Coverage
“The Forgotten Queen is refreshingly original on a concept level, and more importantly, this draft lives up to the promise of the logline. Having worked in the streaming space, I can confidently say that if represented properly and if this show is able to attract a good show-runner, it can seriously make it to the celluloid. Be it the top streaming platforms (Netflix, Amazon) or the premium cable networks like HBO, this show strikes the perfect balance between festival-worthy content and commercial content. It's a very commercially viable show, undoubtedly so.”
